Today it dawned on me that this is the last Thursday I'll be able to get away with going to bed at four in the morning, and waking up at two the following afternoon, before my sophomore year of highschool. I'm living the prime years of my life....The ones that I'll someday look back on and wish I could return to. Pretty crazy when you think about it. Like, living history. I expected this summer to be the best one I've had yet. I thought Jenny T and I would have sleepovers at her house five days in a row, accompanied by Nikki and Cortney and Jessie, like we did every other summer. Me and all of my new amazing friends from school were going to go thrift store shopping every day and go to hardcore shows every weekend together, and make tons of memories. I thought me and Phil would be best friends by the end of the summer, before he left. Jordan and I were going to mend our friendship, and things would be like summers before. What was I thinking? I gained one amazing relationship, which I'm ever so thankful for, but all my other ones basically fell apart. I've been feeling anti-social lately...Lord knows why. I just don't like the guilt trips everyone throws at me because I'm not putting in my share to please them, so sometimes I'd rather be alone. Hense, I'm glad school is starting. Even all the homework from honors classes makes me happy. It cuts me some slack on the responsibility of having to mend everything with everyone. I forgot where I was going with all this, but I really wish I could have a gun with a scope on it so I could go shoot some cats right now.
